Pendernales Falls TX. Feb 05, 24

Moving day. We will be staying in the third campground in this area. It is referred to as Hill Country and includes San Antonio and Ausrin. Dave and I consider this our favourite part of Texas.

The hills are mostly made of limestone which results in lots of caves. The hills makes for interesting landscape and enough trees to give shade. As I mentioned earlier the settlers caused some major environmental changes.
Lots of agriculture mostly ranching. Very few signs of other oil and gas industry which is a nice change from the gulf coast.
Once again the campsite is large and the sites  are separated by space and trees. As opposed to the last two campgrounds, we are truly a middle of nowhere wilderness. This equates to no phone signal and a delay on blog posts.
                    C'est la vie!
