Marfa TX Dec 05, 23

Another travel day. Made it to Marfa, a quirky πŸ€ͺ little art town.
The only thing of note on the journey today was the wall.
First the construction, then maintenance and monitoring.  It's got to cost a fortune.  I saw several border patrol truck in the ditch/ primitive sideroads pulling big tires. Aparently, they look for and count foot prints.
I saw trucks parking on these roads with huge flood lights. At one point on the I-10 all the traffic is pulled over for inspection, looking for aliens. It's just like a border crossing nice buildings and lots of border guards.  Got to ❤️ Homeland security.
Spotted this on our arrive a few metres from our campsite.
Hmmmmmm
