A walk on the beach on Lake Pontchartrain

In the back ground you can see the causeway that goes from Mandville to New Orleans. It was built in 1955, consists of two bridges, and is 38 km long. The longest continuous bridge over water in the world.

We walked down the pier.

Went into Mandiville looking for Thrift stores.

Went into one got a bag full of videos  📽  but no vinyl  💿. Then drove to the next one Google suggested but it was closed. 

We found a treasure any how. Turns out it was in the historic part of Mandiville. Several of the old homes are now shops.

We really liked what they had done with the place!

Back home for a  salvaging project.

Old BBQ to the garbage. Kept the grill, little bolts and nuts. All the while the Grackles flocked in the trees above my head.
