Picacho Peak st pk AZ. Nov 25, 23

Another wonderful day in the desert 🏜.  We did some 🏄‍♀️ on the internet looking for some crazy way out stuff to see and do. 

Biosphere 2 looked kinda interesting but decided not worth the price of admission. It was a failed project to see if it would be possible to create earth like habitat on other planets. Some cheating going on. It is now a research centre to see some effects of climate change.

But the Biosphere is in Oracle. Lots of dude ranches there. Many famous stars have gone there. Checking out Oracle led to the discover of Peppersauce cave. Not the least bit touristy and requires some spelunking skills. Now that's a great place to go!!! So go we did.

Google took us to the spot on the road where the cave is. But no sign where the cave entrance was. I saw a trail. Dave followed me on a danger fraut journey up the side of the hill/mountain. Most dangerous vegetation. Have the scratches and blood to prove it. We gave up. And climbed back down to the road.

 Some people were back at their vehicles from the cave. They told us where the actual path was. It was too late to go by then. Not to be beaten we have booked Nov 29 and 30 back at this park.

Back at the campsite we set up and had a fire.
