Parker AZ Nov 22, 23
We are spent the day at Buckskin Mountain State Park. It's right on the Colorado River. The river is the boundary between Arizona and Californa.
We had sunshine all day until 5pm when it was pitch dark. Night came very early.
This is a photo of the campground. Taken from the ridge around the campground.
We we took the hike up and along it. You can't see our motor home cause we are backed right into the ridge.Had to hurry back to beat nightfall.
In the park they had a lovely garden of desert plants. Also, an enclosure for a tortoise 🐢.
It was in its under ground house. The one on the log is a fake.
Barbecued for the first time on this trip ribs and baked potatoes 🥔. And for veggies tomatoes, okra, and corn. Most delicious 😋.
A good time was had by all.
