Gila Bend. March 10

We have already driven this highway but going the other direction. The change from Decenber to now is amazing. Suddenly it seems the desert is green, yellow, orange, and blue. Trees that were looking dead in December have now come alive. There is yellow creeping up the sides of the .mountains (big hills). Can't all be the Rockies I guess. Along the road sides more yellow a couple different kinds, orange on longish stocks and swarms of smallish blue. This is the stretch were there are Organ Pipe cactus.     🌵🌵🌵

We arrived in Gila Bend whose claim to fame is that there's a 90° bend in the Gila River. We are staying in a private RV park. It's more trailer court than RV park. Nonetheless a place to park and rest our weary bones. 

As boring as it seems to us the kids seem to enjoy the view.
