We made it!!!! And off too our first Mardi Gras parade.

We stopped in a little bar on the parade route. Then we found out from our bartender that there was another bar upstairs with a balcony to watch the parade from.

So much sound people talking, music and the level getting higher and higher as the excitement rose!

Across the street a woman in the same overalls as me!! We hollered across the street and called our selves sister.

After the parade we stopped for bowls of gumbo and then Ubered home.
