Chauvin to Lake Charles. Feb 13
Another moving day. Time to say goodbye to Chauvin with a final hug with a friend.
There was one other gorilla in the area and one in Magnolia Beach. It seems it is or has been a thing.
A little bit of everything during our stay here some anoyance at bad weather, some joy in our shrimp, the thrill of a swamp tour, delight of finally seeing alligators up close, compassion for those affected by Ida, and sadness for the death of Cecil the 86 year old owner of our campground.
We have arrived in Lake Charles and our campground at Sam Houston Jones State Park. Full hookup, showers, laundry and internet that works.
Life is good!
