Lafayette January 30

Found this great restaurant.

Nothing fancy. But really authentic, stick to your ribs Cajun food. I had Crayfish Etouffee and Dave had Suffocated Rabbit. (Read smothered).

And by the way we moved to higher ground .
Also we are the last one standing!

A bit of history. The Cajuns are descendants of the Arcadians who were french speaking Canadians. They were deported from Nova Scotia to Louisiana by the British. Lafayette is the center of Acadiana in Louisiana. Acadians eventually became known as Cajuns.
